Updated: Mar 14

Find the love of your life and discover new up and coming artist in Philadelphia with the The Color Collective!

Valentine's Day can be hard on the single people out there. The Color Collective (@thecolorcollectivee) put together an event to help you find love. Curated by Noni Astro (@noni_astro) and Brie Alexis (@brieeeealexis), Technicolor Heart was a great event that showcased talented visual artists and musical artists. The event was hosted by Your Favorite Jawns (@yourfavoritejawns_) There was a speed-dating/mingle session that happened during the event. The guests were asked to wear pins that determined what their preference was. Whether you like men, women, or non-binary, you chose a pin so people could approach you accordingly and make sure everyone was comfortable. It was a great turn out and all the performers did a great job!

I had the great honor to take pictures of all the action and everyone in attendance. Check out the beautiful people I took pictures of! Make you slide left or right to view all the pictures!

This is Francessca (@jsfrvn). She is an awesome visual artist with great personality and she was awesome to talk to! Check out her work!

THE ALMIGHTY ARTGOD!!! Jay (@artgod333) is dope with a brush in his hand! The bright and colorful pieces he creates does not only put a smile on the face of his customers, but it has opened opportunities for him to make a positive impact on his community Check out his page and show support to this talented artist!

Artist AbnetAgain pictured with her work. She makes detailed and intricate 3D art. My favorite piece of her's was the huge red piece at the top. I still can't determine exactly what it is, but the mysterious factor is what makes it intriguing for me.

These two individuals were the hostess of the musical performances and the speed dating event. Your Favorite Jawns (yourfavoritejawns_) is a talented duo that consists of Shirmina (@shirminageneva) the poet and Ruja (@rujaballad) the rapper. Shirmina performed a powerful poem that had the whole crowd in tuned and you can tell a lot of people related to the words she was saying. Ruja performed one her songs that really had the crowd moving!

Janay Keys (@janaykeys) sung her heart out at Technicolor Heart. You can tell by her facial expressions that she sung with so much soul!

Soof (@sooftheradiokid) was bringing great energy all night. He set the dance floor on fire with his electric dance moves! He also performed some great songs for the crowd and he had the whole venue moving!

Cain Kerner (@cainkerner) really put on a great performance. I witnessed his talent at the Blue Flame event in August and he did not disappoint at Technicolor Heart! His songs had the crowd on an emotional roller coaster with some calm love songs and some hyper angry songs.

Mariah Geez (@mariahgeez) was the last performer of the night and she ended the show on a good note. She blessed are ears with her very relatable bars and dope metaphors!
